Award-winning editor Kristian Otero was born in Puerto Rico and raised in California and Florida. He began making live-action and stop-motion short films at a young age with his neighborhood friends. Kristian later studied film at Full Sail University in 2008. During his time there, he discovered a love for editing while working on student short films. Since 2010, Kristian has edited a wide variety of projects including feature films, music videos, documentaries and TV shows for companies such as Complex Networks and NBCUniversal. As of 2013, he lives and works in New York where he continues to edit feature films and other projects. His most recently edited film “Bound” premiered at Dances With Films and had two sold out screenings.
